Today in Macedonia you will see remains from ancient cities Stobi, Heraclea, Skupi, Bargala,… You will see fortress from the time of great medieval Macedonian king, Samoil and museums with great exhibitions. Day 1 – Skopje
Welcome to Macedonia, we will be waiting for your arrival at Skopje. Together we will depart you to the hotel and you will have time for accommodation. We will visit Skupi (4 km), ancient city near Skopje. This ancient city was destroyed from earthquake in 518 and today a theatre exists there, two basilicas, palace and many artefacts. Dinner in a restaurant.

Day 2 – Skopje – Ohrid
After breakfast at the hotel we will visit City museum in Skopje and after that the Archaeological Museum of Macedonia which is locate in Skopje Old Bazaar. We will visit Kale, Skopje’s fortress where we will see remains of prehistoric times. The oldest walls are from the X century. We will have lunch in restaurant and after that we will leave Skopje and travel to Ohrid (170 km). We will arrive in Ohrid and accommodate in a hotel. We will visit museum in Gradishte, near Ohrid (15 km) dedicate to underwater archaeological site. We will have dinner in a restaurant.

Day 3 – Ohrid
After breakfast we’ll have a walking tour (4 hours) and we will visit the ancient theatre from the II century B.C, the Samoil’s Fortress, where the Macedonian medieval state vas seated from the X- XI century. After that we will visit the Plaosnik area. Here is the place where the first university on Balkan with 3 500 students, was established by St. Clement. Here, today, we may see the early Christian basilica and the rebuild church “St. Pantaleimon” in 2002, but first time erected by St. Clement in the X century. We will have lunch in a restaurant. Next sightseeing is the City museum in Ohrid located in the house of Robevci (house from the middle of XIX century), which is very rich with archaeological artefacts. We will have time to visit church “St. Sophia” from the XI century, center of Ohrid patriarchy from theXI century. You will have free time for exploring Ohrid Old Bazaar. We will have dinner in a restaurant.

Day 4 – Ohrid – Bitola - Prilep
After breakfast we will continue our tour to Bitola (66 km) where we can see Heraklea - the ancient city established by Philip II, father of Alexander the Great in theIV century B.C. The floor mosaics are with great art value and also is important Episcopal basilica. We’ll visit the city museum in Bitola with its archaeological exhibition. We will have lunch in a national restaurant. We will continue our tour to Prilep (18 km) and visit Marko’s Towers, fortress which is erected in the IV century B.C. Prilep and this fortress were built by King Marko in the XIV century. We will accommodate in a hotel and have dinner in a restaurant.

Day 5 – Prilep – Stobi – Valandovo – Gevgelia
After having breakfast in the hotel we will continue our tour to Stobi (55 km), the biggest ancient city in Macedonia. The city was a municipal and Episcopal center The most important objects here are the Episcopal basilica, the theater, the Roman forum, the Theodosian palace, large and small baths and the baptistery. We will have lunch in a restaurant in Gevgelia (23 km). We will visit archaeological site, Vardarski Rid, dating from Early Antiquity. We will visit the city museum in Gevgelia (2 km) with its exhibition with artifacts from Isar Marvinci and Vardarski Rid. We will continue to Strumica (53 km) and we will accommodate in a hotel. We will have dinner in a city restaurant.

Day 6– Strumica – Stip
After having breakfast in the hotel we will visit archaeological site “Sts.15 Tiberiopolis holy martyrs”, where we will see the remains from early Christian basilica and medieval church dedicated to these saints. We continue to Carevi Kuli (17 km), fortress above Strumica, where we can see the remains of the prehistoric period till Turkish period in Macedonia. We will visit Roman bath in Bansko (30 km), where walls are 6, 7 meters high. The bath dates from the III century and it has 11 rooms with area of 623 m2. After lunch in a national restaurant we will continue our tour to Stip (70 km). We will visit the ancient city, Astibo with its remains from fortress named from local citizens – Isar. We will accommodate in a hotel and after that we will go to a restaurant to have dinner – the traditional “stipska pastrmajlija” (meat pie).

Day 7 – Stip – Kocani – Vinica – Stip
After having breakfast in the hotel, we will visit Bargala (18 km), Late Antique city, erected in the IV century. The Episcopal palace, the baths and walls are partially preserved. Here we will find the church “St. George” from the IX century. We will continue to Morodvis (25 km), where we will find remains from ancient city Harmonia and Byzantium city Morobisdon. We will have lunch in a restaurant in Vinica (10 km) and we will visit city museum in Vinica, where we will see rare terracotta icons from the VI century, depicting scenes from the Old and New Testament. We will see also Vinicko Kale, fortress above Vinica, dating from late roman fortification. We will come back in our hotel in Stip (35 km) and we will have diner in a restaurant.

Day 8 – Stip – Kratovo - Kumanovo – Skopje
After breakfast in our hotel we will leave Stip and visit the place called “Cocev Kamen” (60 km), which is considered as painted rock art and a prehistoric observatory. After that we will visit Bazaltni ploci (43 km), where we will find archaeological site Kostoperski rid (hill), place where people lived from iron time till Late Antique. We will continue with our trip and we will visit Kokino (17 km), the fourth oldest megalithic observatory in the World, which dates 3800 years ago . We will have lunch in Kumanovo (30 km) and we will go to Skopje (40 km) to visit archaeological site, Tumba Madzari, Neolithic settlement and we will see two reconstructed houses and there is place where terracotta representation of the Great Mother was found. We will accommodate in a hotel and have dinner in a restaurant.

Day 9 – Skopje
After having breakfast in the hotel you will have time for shopping till your departure from Macedonia.
