You will have a unique chance to see three cities which are real cultural pearls not only in Macedonia, but also in the Balkan. City of Ohrid and Ohrid Lake are part of World heritage of UNESCO. Ohrid is the Macedonian Jerusalem, a city where 365 churches existed - for every day in the year. Skopje is the capital city of Macedonia with almost 500 000 inhabitants. Skopje is the home city of Byzantine emperor Justinian (527- 565) and place where Dushan was crown for tsar of Serbia in 1345. Bitola is city of consuls and ancient city, Heraklea was established by PhilipII. You will see three really beautiful cities.

Day 1 – Skopje
“Welcome to Macedonia” - we will be waiting for your arrival at Skopje. Together we will depart for your hotel and you will have time for accommodation. You will have free time to explore Skopje. Our dinner will be in a national restaurant.

Day 2 – Skopje
After breakfast in our hotel we will visit Kale fortress in Skopje, dating from the time of Samuil, Macedonian medieval tsar from IX- X century. We will visit the church “Holy Saviour” with its amazing wooden iconostas made between 1819 and 1824. In the courtyard we will find the grave of Goce Delcev, the biggest Macedonian revolutionary from the end of XIX century. We will visit Museum Macedonia, where we will see archaeological, historical and ethnological exhibition. We will visit Kurshumli an, where we will se roman monuments - lapidaries. We will see Suli an, where is exhibition of Skopje Old Bazaar. We will have lunch in a restaurant. We will visit house of Mother Tereza, Skopje is her hometown. We will visit City museum and Natural history museum in Skopje. We will have dinner in a national restaurant.

Day 3 – Skopje
Breakfast at the hotel. We will visit the monastery “St. Nikitas’ near v. Gornjene (6 km), which is from XIV century and it is consecrated to Holy warrior Nikitas. Painters Michael and Eutychios are authors of the frescoes “Miracles of Jesus Christ” and “Passion”. We will also visit the church “St. Pantaleimon” in Nerezi (22 km) where the group will have lunch in the monastery restaurant. This church is one of most important monuments of Byzantine architecture, erected in 1164 from Aleksij Angel Komnen and here we will find the fresco “Lamentation of Christ” which is considered as forerunner of Italian renaissance. We will also visit monastery “St. Demetrius” in Marko’s Susica (18 km), built by Macedonian ruler from XIV century, King Marko and here in frescoes we will see King Marko and his father Volkasin. We will be back to Skopje (17 km) and we will have dinner in a national restaurant.

Day 4 – Skopje – St. John at Bigor – Ohrid
After breakfast in the hotel we will check out and visit the monastery “St. Andrew” (17 km), erected by Andrew – the brother of King Marko in 1388/9 with good preserved frescoes. The monastery is located along the river Treska and the artificial lake Matka. We will have lunch in a restaurant in Mavrovi anovi. Our trip continue to the monastery “St. John at Bigor” (92 km), where you will see wooden iconostas made by great master Petre Filipovski. We will continue our trip to Ohrid (77 km) where we will be accommodated. You will have free time for exploring Ohrid - the city of UNESCO. Dinner in a national restaurant.

Day 5 – Ohrid
Breakfast at the hotel. We will have a walking tour starting with the church “Holy Mother Peribleptos”, builded by Progon Zgur, relative to the Byzantine dynasty, Komnen. Inside the church is the gallery with more of 30 extraordinary icons. After this we will visit the beautiful antic theater opened in II B.C and host place of the famous Ohrid summer culture festival. Also, we will visit the Samuil fortress, which was the centre of the Macedonian nation under the Samuil reign (976-1014). After the fortress we will return to the old town and have lunch. Our walking tour through the old town in Ohrid will continue. We will pay a visit to the “St. Pantelejmon” church build by St.Kliment (X century), and reconstructed in 2002. This is the church were back in the days was located the first university in the Balkans. We are going to visit the small church “St. Jovan Kaneo” build in XIII century, were we will experience an amazing view to the Ohrid Lake. We will have lunch in a restaurant. We will visit the church “St. Sofija”, build in XI century, a church that at some point of the existence was reformed into a mosque. After that we will visit the Robevci house, where the Ohrid archeological museum is located. You will have free time for exploring Ohrid. Dinner in a restaurant.

Day 6 – Ohrid – St. Naum - Bitola – Stobi – Veles
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. We will go with a boat to the settlement St. Naum (27 km) where the monastery “St Naum” was erected by St. Naum in the end of IX century and today is famous by the wooden iconostas from 1711. We will continue with our tour and next destination is the second largest city in Macedonia, Bitola (95 km). We will have lunch in a national restaurant in Bitola and short walking through the most famous street Sirok Sokak, where in XIX century was consulates of many European states. Also we will visit the ancient city Heraklea, founded by the Macedonian king Philip II the father of Alexander the Great in IV century B.C. This city is famous with its floor mosaics. We will accommodate in a hotel, near Veles (131 km). Dinner in a restaurant.

Day 7 – Veles – Skopje
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure for Skopje (52 km) and leaving Macedonia.
